Church Staff

Our Church thrives because of the energy and style of the people who lead it. Here are a few of the people that make our church community special:

Pastor-Roy-1Interim Pastor J. Roy Sharpe, M.Div. is an ordained Presbyterian minister working with churches in transition between installed pastors. His work as an Interim Ministry Specialist for the past fifteen years, has taken him to Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Red Bank NJ, Augusta, GA and to several churches in Florida.

He was born and reared in the mountains of western North Carolina. Roy attended Berea College in Berea, KY where he received a BA in History and Political Science. His graduate study in theology was at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in Louisville, KY. He did his post-graduate work in Organizational Development and Systems Theory at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
